5 solutions to fixed Windows Explorer has stopped working

Solution 1: Scanning virus in your computer

One of the reason is virus which it can make some process of your program does not work properly. So you need to update anti-virus in you computer and make schedule for scanning virus in the your computer system.

Solution 2: Checking broken file

You can check broken file by using command line sfc/scannow. This command line will find file error and file corrupted in windows then replace the original file.

Solution 3: Scan Disk

Scanning Disk is to fix bad sector in hard disk and another hand it scans some files error that affect to windows explorer. This is also the option to solve this problem. Go to Windows Explorer by click Key Windows + E then right click on drive(C) of windows choose the word Property. Then click on Tools tab  -> click Check now -> Check 2 boxes then Start button.

Solution 4: Stop unnecessary Service or Tool (Third party)

Third party services or tools are not services of windows that is means those program can be conflict with windows explorer and sometimes it will make windows explorer stop working as well.

• press Key Windows + R then type msconfig in the box then click Ok.
• click Services tab then disable which service that you want to stop.

Solution 5: Checking Memory problem 

In start menu type Memory then choose Windows Memory Diagnostic.
